The Collingwood Brewery offers Wee Heavy and whisky barrels – a match made in heaven.  Our dark, malty and scotch ale perfectly blends with the sweet, vanilla character from whisky barrels.  This glorious ale will keep you warm on the coldest of winter days.

Side Launch Brewing Company will be pouring two beers: Dram in the Dark, a Side Launch Dark Lager aged in a whisky barrel, a dark and fairly sweet beer with warm whisky overtones that build with every sip, and Side Launch Dark Lager that has been fermented and aged in a whisky barrel, slightly drier than the aged-only version with very pleasant whisky notes.

Northwinds Brewhouse & Kitchen will be pouring Barrel Aged Route 26 American Brown Ale, a rich brown with a deep red hue and off white head. Nutty, caramel aroma with resiny hop undertones and a hint of wood from the maple barrels. Roasted and caramel malt flavour with delicate interspersed notes of vanilla and spice from the whisky in the background and a balanced bitterness to off-set any sweetness.
